Southern Lakes Helicopters is a Department of Conservation approved air transport operator, which recognises our contribution to conservation.  This alllows us to operate within the conservation areas of Fiordland, Southland and Otago. We are a member of the Aviation Industry Association of New Zealand, Tourism Association of New Zealand and are a certified Air Rescue / Air Ambulance operator.

Southern Lakes Helicopters operate a modern fleet of aircraft, providing professional and efficient service in Fiordland and lower South Island. We operate a modern fleet of aircraft,  including our two  B3 Squirrels for heavy lift operations.

We undertake Fiordland helicopter flight charter options, commercial charter flights,  filming/recce support, photography, winch and rescue services.  We provide helicopter access to hunting locations throughout Fiordland and the South Coast.
