Rakiura/Stewart Island 

Stewart Island offers hunters the only accessible herd of Virginian white-tail deer in the Southern Hemisphere. There are 35 restricted hunting blocks and an open hunting zone on Rakiura/Stewart Island.  

Rakiura Māori Land Trust administers a further 13 blocks on the Island.  For more information on how to book hunting blocks and apply for permits visit Department of Conservation.

Fiordland National Park

Fiordland National Park provides a wide range of hunting opportunities. 
Wapiti Area

Hunting of wapiti is possible throughout the year, except for the bugle period from mid-February until around the middle of April, when the Wapiti Area is subject to a ballot.
 
Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park

Our pilots are experienced in the National Park and can assist hunters with remote drop-offs and pick-ups as well as gear and equipment transfers.
