Fiordland National Park

Fiordland National Park provides a wide range of hunting opportunities.

Our pilots are happy to share their local knowledge to make your trip as successful as possible. Permits are required for hunting in the National Park, and these are available from the Department of Conservation.

Hunting Locations
Wapiti Area

Hunting of wapiti is possible throughout the year, except for the bugle period from mid-February until around the middle of April, when the Wapiti Area is subject to a ballot.
 
Rakiura/Stewart Island

Stewart Island offers hunters the only accessible herd of Virginian white-tail deer in the Southern Hemisphere.
Aoraki / Mt Cook National Park

Our pilots are experienced in the National Park and can assist hunters with remote drop-offs and pick-ups as well as gear and equipment transfers.
