The Triple Buzz Heli-Hike

Day hike on the Kepler Track in Fiordland National Park. If you enjoy walking then this alpine & bush hike will be a highlight. A scenic helicopter flight to Luxmore Hut is your starting point. Take time to enjoy the alpine views and flora, climb to the summit or explore the limestone caves before descending the mountain. Depending on whether or not you choose to climb to the summit, the trip can take between 3 hours or 6 - 7 hours - up to you!!

This day hike is on a well-formed track through native beech forest and all down hill to Brod Bay on the shores of Lake Te Anau, your pick up point for the boat cruise back to Te Anau. We can provide you with a map and a mobile phone (if you don't have your own), make sure you bring insect repellant, sun lotion, good footwear, a torch to explore the limestone caves (optional), your lunch and good layers of clothing.

Please note - we can combine the Triple Buzz Heli-Hike with any of our other Scenic Flights by dropping you at the Luxmore Hut at the end of the flight. When combining your Heli-Hike with a Scenic Flight the only additional cost above the Scenic Flight cost is $25.00 per person for the boat cruise back to Te Anau.
